First of all I'm sorry for the late response.
Indeed the plugin was not intended to export as mesh, but to really keep everything serialized as json, so the user can always edit his creations and save them as a simple string in PlayerPrefs or online in a database.
Now if you need to bake and export the mesh, you can install "FBX Exporter" from Unity in the "Package Manager" window, then right click on your "GlobalContainer" game object and select the option to export as fbx.
I will make sure to update the documentation about it.
