    Maybe the object is below the ground, or something like that which gives a conflict between 2 methods. Can you try to put that object higher ?

      Anthony Objects are created dynamically, but they are exactly above the ground since they are created on the condition that they are above the ground. This option is definitely out.

        Anthony If I constantly move the object along my favorite axes, the zoom works, but as soon as I stop the object, after about 1 second, the camera again moves to an incomprehensible position and stays there statically. maybe I’m somehow not correctly sighting the zoom itself on the object?

          evgeniiromanov unfortunately this peace of code is not enough to debug the issue.
          I just opened one of my demo scenes Perspective_And_TopDown_Demo
          I click on a cube to follow, then stop the animation on the cube. The camera will stop following, and there is no weird thing happening.

          If you want me to debug this, I will need a unitypackage that isolate the issue, or we can book a call after I'm back from vacations.
