hi, we'd like to use this for architectural projects that require entering exact dimensions for walls and windows, doors, etc, is this possible? it seems in the floor map editor it is only meters and in .5 meter increments only. Also we'd like to be able to use imperial units of measurement rather than metric on some projects.

thanks!

    dgenr8 Hi !
The system is based on Unity units. I just assume that 1 unit = 1 meter in my demo, but you can display whatever you like.
The grid also snaps to unity units, you can configure it to snap to 0.5units or whatever you need.

You cannot really "enter" values, everything is based on the points snapping on the grid, and you use sliders for walls heights, doors, windows etc, so it's not as precise as AutoCad for example.

But you can definitely display imperial units instead of meters, it's just a matter of converting the unity units. I should actually propose to change the unit system in the settings. Thanks for the advice.

      Hi Anthony,

Can you please let me know where I can make that adjustment to snap to less than 1 full Unity unit in the floor planner configuration?

I was looking through the controllers and scripts but couldn't find anything that would affect the snapping when I changed it. Thanks!

WHI Hi Anthony, never mind I found it on the Grid object in the FloorMapEditor. Changing the 'Space' parameters does what I'm looking for.
